transformers

why am i still up at 4:00am? damn it. just like yesterday.

so what did i do on the forth? easy. white castle and transformers. i haven't had a burger since before europe, and the sliders were delicious.

so transformers... this is easy too. A-. it was a great mix of action and plot and nostalgia. one of the things i liked is that, you didn't have to watch the cartoon or play with the toys to enjoy it. so the kids of the 90s will surely spread the word that this is the greatest summer movie this year. the effects were absolutely astounding, and although i hate michael bay, he was truly the only director who could have handled this project properly. he did not disappoint, using his trademark rotating camera shots to add to the flawless integration of real and digital action. don't wait to see this film!
and lastly, while i am a shia labeouf fan, i'm in love with megan fox, the true star of the film. if you don't know who she is... you will. she's outstanding.

YES! Transformers could be the biggest summer blockbuster movie! There is so much great action, that it must be seen on the big screen at the movie theater! Megan Fox is hot.
I give the movie a solid A for simple entertainment. It was very close to the original story line except for Megatron transforming into something different. Optimus Prime's voice may rival the voice of James Earl Jones as Darth Vader.
Now, who wants to see "Live Free or Die Hard"?

oh and btw dk, megatron transformed into his second generation form ... shiite even i know that ... that's what you get for growing up with two guys ... if you ask me he should have become the gun and starscream should have blown everyone up!

planning to go insane

this europe trip has been a logistical nightmare. danny and i took three hours to find an available hostel in amsterdam and dublin . tomorrow, we have to get some accomodations for warsaw , vienna , and prague . thankfully beth is planning the greece portion of the trip. danny and i ate sushi at china palace ... which now serves thai food !?!?! i know, it's a shocker to me too. we then went to barnes and noble to pick up some travel books. while there, danny noticed a nice pair of legs and knee high boots with a short skirt. she was a goth chick, which is not usually something i concern myself with... but goth chicks need love too, and she was a cutie. we then stopped at 4 stores before finding a reasonably priced plug set for european countries. who knew that it would be so hard to find such a thing... during the summer... when everyone goes on vacation... huh?
