giving thanks

yay! finally i get a chance to talk to jamie again. such a sweetheart. i was beginning to think that she was cranky. 100 was pretty fun today. we came in 15min late, but didn't miss anything. critique was pretty cool... as the class was very nice about my piece. the highlights include nick's mystery fruit, a lime i think. i was doing my best to hide the fact that he had no idea what it was himself. a quince, a comquiat? also, jamie's "the great oak" was hilarious. not only did she put the text into her piece, she also had some really jacked up bead. funny shit. all in all great work from the whole class.
smoking break was even better than all the laugh riots going on in class. i pulled a roy and guessed 4 signs. shannon - taurus, nick - virgo, jeanne - cancer, jamie - gemini. i had a hard time getting cassie and melissa, both capricorns... who's a capricorn? it was good bonding time... a true zen experience. my homework is to come back on monday and share some more information with them. good times. if i can just say it again, even though it is probably getting old... i like these kids and i hope that i can keep in touch with them.

right now, i'm in the middle of my 204 class, but there's a sub in here, and she's not as good as carol is, so the whole class is falling asleep or surfing the web. stephanie and i are gonna cut out early to eat at ihop. thank god. i'm gonna surf the web until we leave...
