date night

Image
once in a great while, you get the opportunity to experience something that is normally reserved for special people. in this case it was something known as date night . date night happens on wednesdays, every couple of weeks. it entails dinner, drinks, and sometimes a stop at barnes and noble to peruse male pornography, specifically play girl magazine . thankfully, this particular date night, last night in fact, did not include the usual stop to the b and n. what it did include, were me and danny , two surprise guests who were invited to join this secret society for one night. along with the founding members liz, mel, katie, al, and danielle , danny and i were able to catch a glimpse of what it is really like to be 'on the inside'. we ate at kona grill , a pacific-rim kind of fusion place, coupled with its own sushi bar. we all ate sushi and had a pretty good fill. in my opinion, the sushi was sub-par, but i guess acceptable for non-habitual sushi eaters. the salmon special r...

the little mermaid

i spent all day debating whether or not to break the cardinal rule of blogging. well actually, there are two cardinal rules to blogging (at least in my book of the cardinal rules of blogging). one : don't talk about other people's shit, unless you get express, written or verbal consent . and two : don't talk about women you are together with, dating, or otherwise interested in . anyways, i was debating on whether or not to break the second rule... and i've decided that i can't do it. what i will tell you is that i went on a " date " with ariel (read the second part of this post and the second part of this post to get caught up.) and it was great. why is date in quotes? again, i can't break the rule. not this time. but i will tell that she's beautiful, smart, sweet, outgoing, and she has this sense of humor that is so endearing, i can't really explain. she has this really subtle sarcasm that is so perfect, i have wait for her to finish a s...

algorithm march

this blog is for bean . hey bean, please do not read this unless you are high. so robyn sends me this link, and i think it's absolutely bizarre . it's a video clip of this prison in my homeland, the philippines . she titled the email something like " what inmates do in filipino jails... this is for real ", and i'm thinking that i'm about to watch some brutal massacre of violence and torture... but this is what it was instead... as seen on youtube . holy shit. i want to know how they picked the inmate to play the girl . and like with all youtube viewings, i scanned the "related videos" to see what other sorts of nonsense they had done, and lo and behold... they've done the algorithm march ! algorithm march i came across this clip about six months ago, but i never got the chance to forward it on. i'm not gonna explain shit, because when i first watched it, it was just out of sheer curiosity of the title. before i toss you the link, here are te...
